Tallaght Community First Responders is a not-for-profit community organization providing voluntary basic lifesaving interventions to adults and paediatrics in our community in their time of need, whether it be a cardiac arrest, stroke, cardiac chest pain or choking.
We aim to provide care to a patient in the initial minutes prior to the arrival of the Emergency Services.
We are funded entirely by public & corporate donations, enabling us to equip our volunteer responders with an emergency kit bag and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
We also fundraise and install Public Access Defibrillators in strategic locations around Tallaght, Dublin 24.
The end goal is to strengthen the chain of survival for a patient.
