Callan CFR

Callan First Responders (CFR) are local volunteers, trained to attend certain types of emergency calls in the area where they live or work.Their aim is to reach a potential life threatening emergency in the first vital minutes before the ambulance arrives.We actively welcome new volunteers to the group, offering full training & development. Our volunteers have varied careers in healthcare, legal , Builder, EMT, retail and many more. Bringing all types of skills & dynamics to the group. We all have a common goal – To help save a life.

Being a first responder gives you a great sense of pride. Its a privilege to be in a position to help somebody and make a difference to their life. Socially you will make such close friends and build a team that can rely on eachother.
